Here’s how…
Olsson Building guarantees to deliver a finished quality home that you appreciate for generations to come. We have been building together since 2004 and in that time we have developed relationships with some expert subcontractors. We will only recommend and use proven products and techniques in your home.
Olsson Building guarantees to keep you updated every step of the way with clear open communications. We will give you the opportunity to frequently visit your home during construction and arrange walk-throughs with the Olsson Building team.
We have been building long enough to know that your home needs to experience the full four seasons before any minor issue can become apparent. For that reason, Olsson Building guarantees a 12 month maintenance period after completion if necessary to rectify any minor settlement.

Let’s meet.
After filling out our email questionnaire, we take the time to meet and discuss your requirements and options. You can let us know what it is you want to achieve and we will explain our services and the building process. An obligation free meeting on site will allow us to make a preliminary assessment of your land characteristics such as slope, orientation, views and planning requirements.
Initial design.
A Preliminary agreement allows us to organise a site survey, soil testing, planning report and concept design on your behalf. These are your to keep. At this stage we will provide you with an estimated costing for your consideration. The preliminary agreement can be extended through the final documentation.
Already have your own plans? We can collaborate with you and your designer to get the desired outcome.
Planning.
We meet with you to review the concept plan and costing against your objectives and budget and take you through the options for fixtures and finishes. We will work with you to incorporate your design and lifestyles requirements into your home. Only when you are satisfied with the design we will proceed to finalise the documentation for construction including working drawings, engineering design, energy assessments and planning approvals.
Cost analysis.
Once you are satisfied with your layout we prepare a detailed cost estimate based on the initial design and make any changes necessary to gain your approval to proceed with the construction.
We want to proceed.
Once you have signed the building contract we can organise building approvals and commence construction.
Building starts.
Throughout the build of your new home we keep in regular contact. Frequent updates via email along with regular scheduled site visits so you can see your design come to life.
Moving in.
We carry out a detailed inspection of the completed works with you and rectify anything that needs attention before final acceptance and occupation.
above & beyond.
Our commitment to you doesn’t finish when we hand over the keys. We carry out mandatory 3 month maintenance period checks, we are here for you 12 months on for a final once over because we know a home needs to live through all four seasons before we give it the final tick.
